Celorico de Basto j\u00e1 tem uma esta\u00e7\u00e3o meteorol\u00f3gica, equipamento que serve para monitorizar em tempo real as condi\u00e7\u00f5es climat\u00e9ricas da regi\u00e3o. Trata-se de uma ferramenta importante para observar, medir e analisar diversos par\u00e2metros meteorol\u00f3gicos que afetam o ambiente e o clima local.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A iniciativa partiu dos alunos do nono ano (E) da Escola B\u00e1sica e Secund\u00e1ria de Celorico de Basto, que passaram da teoria \u00e0 pr\u00e1tica no \u00e2mbito de um projeto interdisciplinar, instalando a esta\u00e7\u00e3o meteorol\u00f3gica digital no recreio do estabelecimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abQuem passar pelo recinto da escola pode dar conta deste equipamento tecnol\u00f3gico; a esta\u00e7\u00e3o meteorol\u00f3gica completa, montada e configurada pelos alunos, promete transformar a forma como a comunidade escolar interage com a ci\u00eancia e o ambiente\u00bb, comenta a dire\u00e7\u00e3o do agrupamento celoricense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A par da temperatura do ar, essencial para entender as varia\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de conforto para as pessoas e ecossistemas; o equipamento permite avaliar a humidade relativa do ar, designadamente a quantidade de vapor de \u00e1gua no ar, um indicador importante para condi\u00e7\u00f5es de conforto, precipita\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade; bem assim como a press\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica, ou seja, o peso do ar sobre a superf\u00edcie terrestre, sendo fundamental para prever mudan\u00e7as no tempo, como a aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas de alta ou baixa press\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permite ainda monitorizar a velocidade e a dire\u00e7\u00e3o do vento, que \u00e9 essencial para estudos de clima e para prever eventos clim\u00e1ticos como tempestades e furac\u00f5es; bem como registar a quantidade de chuva ca\u00edda, o que permite acompanhar os padr\u00f5es de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o e a gest\u00e3o de recursos h\u00eddricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamb\u00e9m a quantidade de radia\u00e7\u00e3o solar que atinge a superf\u00edcie da Terra, que influencia diretamente o clima, o aquecimento global e o crescimento de plantas, \u00e9 outro dos par\u00e2metros avaliados; bem assim como o \u00edndice de \u201cUV\u201d, que indica a intensidade da radia\u00e7\u00e3o ultravioleta, ajudando na preven\u00e7\u00e3o de doen\u00e7as relacionadas com a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o solar excessiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este tipo de esta\u00e7\u00e3o meteorol\u00f3gica oferece dados valiosos, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 para a comunidade escolar, mas tamb\u00e9m para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o em geral, permitindo uma melhor compreens\u00e3o dos padr\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticos locais e promovendo a educa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental entre os alunos e a popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
